Felix Bonnat began making chocolate in 1884 in Isere, France. Renowned for its centuries long traditions and its cornerstone storefront, people come from across the globe to visit the store and experience the tradition.  Bonnat sources beans from across the world to produce a vast line of single origin bars. It's silky texture and high quality of each bar is unmistakably true to Bonnat's character.

First cultivated in Mexico for emperors to gain strength and courage, the Mexican beans used from this bar are rich in history. Xoconusco's beans are more difficult to cultivate than other areas of the world and the beans were abandoned in 1850. Bonnat has begun using these beans again for the first time since 1850 and the exceptional nose, texture, and flavor are a welcome taste of history.
